Hi! My name is Mattias Andersson and I was born and raised in the small mountain village of Saxnäs in Vilhelmina municipality. I have always liked drawing, am a trained animator and have worked with computer games for about 15 years. However, I have always liked comic books and always dreamed of drawing children's books. In the last five years I have both illustrated and written several children's books from different publishers.

When I was little, I found it difficult to read. That's why I appreciated easy-to-read books more, preferably with lots of nice pictures. Then it became much easier for me to absorb the story, because I had the illustrations to help me. That's exactly why I find it so fun and exciting to work with easy-to-read books. With the books, I help others find the desire to read thanks to my work.
